Graffiti in Elm Farm and Mandeville underpass

After receiving letters and e-mails from residents in Elm Farm and Mandeville about graffiti on the underpass, we have spoken to local MP David Lidington about the problem.

David supported our campaign and told us about a successful project in the centre of Aylesbury where Crimestoppers successfully joined the battle against graffiti.  He’ll be meeting the head of Thames Valley Crimestoppers in the near future to raise the issue with him.

We’ll keep you posted!

Thank goodness someone is tackling this issue! It has been getting worse and worse over the last few years, and yet very little seems to have been done about it., Worse still, people have been sitting back and accepting it!

  2. aylesbury Says:

We certainly have not been “accepting” it as I am sure many of the residents will agree. The area has been cleaned up several times. However, we also need a longer term solution, which is why we have raised this issue with our local MP, David Lidington.

I think that a longer term solution to this problem is the only way forward and I completely agree with “Aylesbury” which is why I am delighted that the Tories are taking this issue so seriously.
